3 Data Collection
The following data are collected and recorded:
Personal data
We will not collect any personal data without your consent. Only you decide whether or not you want to disclose details such as name, address, telephone number, etc.
We require your personal data in order to answer your query or to process your order (e.g. table reservation, contact request).
Data for the delivery of chargeable services
For the delivery of chargeable services (e.g. ordering vouchers, event reservation), we require additional data, such as payment details, in order to execute your order. We store these data in our systems until permission is revoked.
Payment transactions using common means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are only made via encrypted SSL connections. You can recognize an encrypted connection in your browser's address line when it changes from «http://» to «https://» and the lock icon in your browser line is visible.
In the case of encrypted communication, any payment details you submit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Data we process when you contact us
If you contact us using our contact details and channels (e.g. by e-mail, telephone), we will process the personal data you provide us with. This may include details such as the name of your company, your name, your role, your e-mail address or phone number, and your inquiry. We will process this data solely to address your inquiry (e.g. giving you information about our operations, assisting you with contract-related matters such as booking questions, or incorporating your feedback to improve our services.)
Technical data
Technical data are automatically recorded on our IT systems when you visit our website. These are primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). These data are recorded automatically, as soon as you arrive on our website. The following data are stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general information transferred regarding the operating system and browser. These usage data form the basis for statistical, anonymous analyses, enabling us to detect trends, which we can use to improve our offering.
Analytics and third-party tools
When visiting our website, statistical analyses may be made of your surfing behavior. This happens primarily using cookies and analytics. The analysis of your surfing behavior is usually anonymous, i.e. we will not be able to identify you from this data. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. 5 Transfer of data to third parties and third-party access
Without the assistance of other companies, we would not be able to provide our services in the way we intend. To use the services of these companies, we will have transfer some of your personal data to them. We will only transfer data to the extent necessary for the provision of the service. 6 Transfer of personal data abroad
We are entitled to transfer your personal data also to third parties abroad, provided that this is necessary to carry out the data processing mentioned in this privacy policy (see Sections 12-15 in particular). Any such transfer of personal data will be carried out in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. If the country in question does not have an adequate level of data protection, we will ensure through contractual clauses that your data is adequately protected when processed by these companies.
7 Data security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data we store against loss and unlawful processing, and in particular, unauthorized third-party access. Our employees and any service providers we engage are subject to a duty of professional secrecy and are obliged to comply with data protection laws and regulations. Furthermore, access to personal data is only granted to these individuals to the extent necessary to fulfill their duties.
Our technical and organizational measures are regularly updated to bring them in line with the latest technology standards. However, it is important to note that transmitting information over the internet and using electronic communication tools always carries certain security risks, and we cannot offer an absolute guarantee of security of information transmitted in this manner.
8 Use of your data for marketing purposes
The personal data entered by the data subject are collected and stored solely for internal use and purposes. The controller may arrange for the transfer to one or more processors, such as parcel service providers, who will use the personal data exclusively for the purpose of processing the order.
By providing your personal data, you consent to receiving our electronic newsletter by email or similar information by post. All information is provided free of charge and you can cancel at any time. An informal notice using this form will suffice. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
8.1 Central data storage in the CRM system
Where the data can be used to clearly identify you, we will store and link the data described in this privacy policy, i.e., in particular, your personal information and your contacts, in a central database. This serves to efficiently manage customer data, allows us to adequately respond to your queries and enables the efficient provision of the services you require and the processing of related contracts. We use this data to provide you with offers and relevant information tailored to your needs.
8.2 Newsletter
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, for example, by using the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. In addition, you can independently change your newsletter profile (first name, last name, e-mail address, subscribed newsletters) under this link. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

8.3 À la minute newspaper / weinundmehr.ch newspaper / postal mailings
You can cancel the receipt of our mailings at any time. The easiest way to do this is to use a form available at: www.remimag.ch/leserservice. You can also use this form to notify us of any address changes.
We use mailing providers to send the newspaper and we transfer your personal data to them for this purpose. The data is used solely for order processing purposes.
9 Cookies
Cookie settings for this website
Whenever you access the website, the following information will be typically collected: the IP address, the accessing browser and the time of this access In addition, the status and the amount of data transferred are recorded as part of this request. Product and version information about the browser and the operating system of the computer used, as well as the referring website. We use the website analysis service Google Analytics from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland) or Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) ("Google").
In the process, the described data concerning website use may be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA for the outlined processing purposes (see Section 13.1). The IP address is truncated within the Member States of the European Union or other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission, through the activation of IP anonymization ("anonymizeIP") on this website. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA where it will be truncated.

11 Use of Google Maps
This page uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

12 Use of Google Adwords
This website uses the online advertising programme “Google AdWords” and, as a consequence, conversion tracking. This means that Google AdWords will place a cookie on your computer if you landed on our website after clicking on a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to identify specific individuals. If the user visits specific pages on our website and if the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that the user has clicked on the ad and was forwarded to this page. Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be traced via AdWords customers’ websites. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who decided to use conversion tracking. The customers will know the total number of visitors that have clicked on their ad and were forwarded to a page with an integrated conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive information that could be used to identify the user personally.
If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can easily deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie via your web browser in the user settings area. Please keep in mind that you must not delete the opt-out cookies, as long as you want no recording of measurement data. You all have deleted your cookies in your browser; you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

This allows the network to directly link your visit to our website to your account. If you want to prevent this, you should log out before clicking on the relevant links. Your access to our website will be associate with your user account in any case when you log into the social media site after clicking on the link. 14 For a table reservation service
For the online table reservation on our website we use the For a table reservation service from Lunchgate AG. When using the reservation service you send data such as your name, telephone number, e-mail address, required number of guests and comments to Lunchgate via the input screen. These data are required to carry out an online reservation and must therefore be stored by Lunchgate AG. Please note the Lunchgate AG terms of use.
15 Hotel room booking service
For room bookings on our website we use the reservation service of HotelNetSolutions GmbH, Genthiner Str. 8, 10785 Berlin. When using the reservation service you send data such as your name, telephone number, e-mail address, required number of guests and comments to the reservation service provider via the input screen. These data are required to carry out an online reservation and must therefore be stored by the reservation service provider. Please note the terms of use and general terms and conditions, which you will be made aware of when making your booking.
16 Online voucher ordering
On our website, you have the option to order gift vouchers. For this purpose, we collect the following data, with mandatory information marked in the respective form with an asterisk (*):

We use this data, along with any additional information you voluntarily provide, solely to fulfill your order in accordance with your preferences. On weinundmehr.ch, you have the option to order wines and other products. For this purpose, we collect the following data, with mandatory information marked in the respective form with an asterisk (*):

18 Online payment processing
When you make bookings or purchase products on our website or online stores, depending on the product or service and the preferred payment method, you may be required to provide additional data, such as your credit card information or login to your payment service provider. This information, as well as the fact that you have purchased a service from us for the amount and at the time in question, is forwarded to the respective payment service provider (e.g. payment solution providers, credit card issuers and credit card acquirers). Please always check also the information provided by the respective company, especially their private policy and the general terms and conditions.
20 Hotel stay
Data processing to fulfill legal reporting obligations
Upon arrival at our hotel, we may require the following information from you and your companions (mandatory*):
• Name and surname
• Postal address and canton
• Date of birth
• Nationality
• Official identification card and number
• Arrival and departure date
We collect this information in order to fulfill legal reporting obligations, which arise in particular from hospitality or police regulations. To the extent we are required to do so by applicable law, we will forward this information to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
Recording of service purchases
If you purchase additional services during your stay (e.g. wellness, restaurant, activities), we will record the nature of the service and the time it was provided for billing purposes.
21 Guest feedback
If you have provided us with your e-mail address in connection with your booking, you will receive an electronic form after your departure to provide guest feedback. The information is voluntary and helps us to continuously improve our offer and our services and to adapt them to your needs. We will use the information provided to us for statistical purposes only. We will process the data in a non-anonymized form to contact you in the case of any issues.
If you fill out our guest feedback card in the restaurant, your data will be recorded in our CRM system, provided that you have explicitly ticked that you would like to receive information by mail or e-mail.
